Fiona - Engineer Environment, Water and Civil Infrastructure team

 Joining Maunsell at a time when water management has such a strong community interest has been extremely rewarding. I have worked on some really exciting projects designed to improve the performance of wastewater and stormwater systems, using computer models to analyse problems and find workable solutions for our clients and the community.

My managers are well respected in their fields and really care about furthering my career. I’ve found them incredibly supportive and had the opportunity to attend various conferences and seminars to enhance my professional development.

The thing I like most about working in the Environment group is the positive impact our projects have for future generations. I work directly with scientists, planners and other engineers to find the best solution to waste and water problems.

I also like the global opportunities that are available – I was lucky enough to be seconded to Ohio, USA for three months, and I hope to work overseas again in the future. I know that Maunsell can help me do this.
